What do we do with audio, video and photographic materials provided by schools and youth organisations

As part of our Voices Around The World annual projects schools and youth organisations send to us audio recordings, video recordings and photographs of students performing with the music tracks provided. These materials are mixed by us to produce music videos to represent a world-wide virtual choir of students from a large number of different countries. Within the organisation of Voices Around The World we maintain very strict policy guidelines that:

1) all students participating within the project recordings will do so anonymously i.e. no individual students will ever be identified

2) the recorded media submitted to Voices Around the World will be used solely within the context and confines of the Voices Around the World project

3)Voices Around The World will only ever use recorded material where full consent has been given by parents or carers to the schools or youth organisations for their children to participate in the projects.

4)While Voices Around The World requests all schools or youth organisations to confirm that permission has been granted by parents or carers for their children to participate in the projects, it is the responsibility of the schools and youth organisations to ensure that this has been fully followed through.
